Students will, through peer mentorship and practice, experience the basics of vegetable horticulture as it relates to a market garden, with opportunities in field, row cover, greenhouse and high tunnel production. This will bear similarities to the past activities of the Chef’s Garden Chartwells and CSA initiative, and will build toward a more intensive and sustainable vegetable production approach.
